Baby Shower Projects

For the last month and a half my weekends have been dedicated to projects for my BFF's baby shower which I co-hosted last weekend. I modeled the invitation after a design I found on the Splitcoast Stampers gallery. Rather than a folded card, I designed the invitations as a quarter-sheet post card with the invite printed in dark brown and pink ink, on Very Vanilla card stock and adhered to the back. Invitation ingredients: Stampin Up Teddy & Train stamp set; SU Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, and Very Vanilla card stock; SU Chocolate Chip ink pad and Pretty in Pink writer; SU 1-1/4" Chocolate Chip striped grosgrain ribbon.

The thank you cards are folded cards that coordinate with the invitations using the same SU materials with the addition of using the Modern Label and Eyelet Border punches.

The favors continue with the SU colors and feature the rattle from the Teddy & Train stamp set. I found the clear plastic favor/candy boxes at a stamp convention but you can order them online from lots of companies.

To display the favors, I found pink and brown patterned fabric and sewed together a liner for a basket I already had.

Then came the 12 x 12 scrapbook.

I was really happy with how everything came out and most importantly so were the mom and dad to be. I had a lot of fun designing and creating all of these projects but I'm ready for a little break.
