Christmas Cards 2009
Here are the Christmas cards I made this year. This first one is the card I made and mailed to family and friends. I borrowed the design from Kathy, my Stampin' Up demonstrator.
Ingredients: SU Real Red, Soft Suede and white cardstocks; SU Christmas Cocoa Designer Series paper; SU Dasher stamp; SU Soft Suede ink; SU Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon; Christmas red Stickles
This card I made especially for Kathy. I couldn't very well give her a card that she designed! I borrowed this idea from Stampin with Jaydee.
Ingredients: SU Real Red and white cardstock; SU Christmas Cocoa Designer Series paper; SU Dasher stamp and Christmas Greetings stamp set; white embossing powder; SU Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon; SU Eyelet Border punch
And finally, these are versions of the cards I made for co-workers. My design this time!

Halloween Treats
First up are the treats I made for my co-workers. I made little cards using the Sweet Treat Cups from Stampin' Up. The black tab slides up to get the candy out. So neat! Then I made a few zig-zag cut cards for some family and friends. So cute!

Aunt's Birthday
My Aunt Angie's birthday is in October, but I already have her card made. I think it came out so cute! I modeled the layout from a card I did at one of my Stampin' Up demonstrator's workshops. The solid cardstock is from the current Stampin' Up In Colors and the print paper is from BoBunny that I bought at a scrapbook store a few weeks ago. When I was pulling out paper to make this card, I noticed that the colors in both sets just happened to match perfectly. I love it when things unexpectedly work out so well!
Ingredients: Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay and Dusty Durango cardstock; BoBunny Island Mist Dot, Kitchen Spice Nutmeg (plaid), and Kitchen Spice Cloves (flowers) paper; SU Party Hearty stamp set; SU Bermuda Bay, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, and Crushed Curry ink; and SU Crushed Curry 1/2" polka-dot grosgrain ribbon.

Another Holiday Workshop
Jimmie Lyn, my co-worker/crafting buddy, invited our Stampin' Up demonstrator Kathy to hold a workshop at Jimmie's house for some of Jimmie's friends. Here are the projects we made.
This card was made using SU's Sweet Treat Cups. The candy corn is inside a plastic cap that has been inserted through a circle punched into the card. The paper around the cap forms a pocket that the black tab slides into. To get to the candy, slide the black tab up. It's so cool!
This note pad holder is made out of a file folder that we trimmed and folded.
This one was made almost entirely out of punches -- the tree, stars, and circles on the right edge were all done using punches.

Brother's Roxy Scrapbook
So you've seen the two scrapbooks I did of our dog Roxy, one for my mom and one for me. Well I didn't want to leave my brother out, but since he's not really into the scrapbook thing I made him a photo album/mini-scrapbook. His birthday is in a few days so it's going to be part of his gift. The pages are in a 4x6 photo book whose cover is faux animal skin in teal that I found at Michael's. All of the patterned paper I found at Micheal's too. So this closes out the Roxy scrapbook series. Here are a few pages.

Halloween stamp workshop
My Stampin' Up demonstrator Kathy had a stamp workshop yesterday where we got to make 7 fall projects including Halloween cards, candy bag and box, and a pumpkin patch card. I think the pheasant card is my favorite just because I've never done anything like it before. It was made with just the pheasant and wheat stamps, sponges, and ink pads, and it was the easiest and fastest card to make!! Here are the projects...enjoy!

Cards, Cards, Cards
My friend Glenda invited me to her apartment for carding making time. Here are the 4 cards I made this evening. All of the stamps are from Stampin' Up sets: Garden Whimsy, Birthday Whimsy, and Fabulous Flowers. The purses are from a retired SU set that Glenda had...don't remember the name. The card stock, ink, and ribbon are also SU. The patterned paper is from a Hobby Lobby set of 12x12.
