rest in peace Jacy girl

I found out this evening that Jacy, one of my uncle and aunt's beloved dogs, passed on a couple of weeks ago and the very same weekend that we were dealing with our dog having to have emergency surgery to remove a 5 lb. tumor on her spleen. If you're like us, your pets are very much a part of the family and loosing one is devastating. My dog is doing so well now, it makes me wonder if Jacy's spirit has been with my Roxy helping her to recover.This is the card I made for my uncle and aunt. Inside I stenciled a puppy dog in honor of Jacy.

Ingredients: Stampin' Up Flowers For You designer series paper; SU Lovely Lilac and Gable Green cardstock; SU Lovely Lilac and Tempting Turquoise ink; SU Party Hearty (cupcake & Celebrate You), Alphabet Soup, and Birthday Whimsy (cake) stamp sets; generic ribbon and brad embellishments.

This card doesn't open like a traditional folded card...I cut the fold and attached the 2 pieces in the corner with a decorative brad so it opens on a rotating hinge. Just tryin' something different!
